Thank you to the enthusiastic volunteers who showed up on Sunday to help clear the wildflower plot as we prepare a future home for “The Giving Plot”! The good weather and camaraderie made the work party a sociable as well as a productive event.
The growing space is large enough to accommodate both a “giving” plot for produce that will be shared with the kitchen at Wilson Centre as well as an area for more wildflowers / pollinators next season.
Stay tuned for more details in the spring, including opportunities for you to help with donated seeds, seedlings, and/or volunteer time to work the plot.
