A local grower and agricultural technology company, Cubic Farms in Pitt Meadows, reached out to our community garden with an unexpected and generous offer of lettuce seedlings started in their growing machines. Of course, we were very happy to accept their offer!
Denise Ottmann, a long-time member of our community garden, coordinated the delivery of the lettuce seedlings. Denise is pictured here with Jordan Dinesen of Cubic Farms, who kindly delivered the seedlings to our gate for distribution to our gardeners.
