Many thanks to everyone who came out to our spring work party on Saturday! Your time, energy, and dedication have greatly contributed to the garden as we start a new season.
Thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of our volunteers, many wheelbarrows of mushroom manure were distributed to garden plots and flower beds and many plot border boards were replaced. Thanks, also, to Meadows Landscape Supply, who topped up our order of mushroom manure with a generous donation. The team did a great job of spring cleanup and made a good start on weeding the common beds. We took time out to enjoy conversation and camaraderie over coffee and snacks!
It was wonderful to welcome new garden members and to reconnect with returning members as we start a new season. We plan to hold more team work parties this season, so please stay tuned for updates.
